Chef Althea Grey Potter has been cooking in Portland for the past 15 years. She has received recognition as the chef of one of Portland Monthly’s Best New Restaurants 2018, and one of Portland’s Best New Restaurants and Top 5 Dishes of 2018 by the Portland Mercury. After appearing on both Food Network’s Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games, she was named Eater Portland’s 2019 Food Personality of the Year and landed a spot on the Eater 38 Essential Portland Restaurants list. This fall, she opened her first restaurant concept as both the chef and owner, Bar Nouveau, to much acclaim.
