Chef Jesse Skiles is a Portland native with over 20 years of culinary experience. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Jesse has cooked in and led some of Portland’s top kitchens, including Oven and Shaker and Tartuca. Before joining Ken’s Artisan Pizza, he owned and operated Fausse Piste Winery and its restaurant, Sauvage, where he combined his passions for food, wine, and wood-fired cooking. Having grown up around a wood fire and with a lifelong love of pizza, Jesse found Ken’s to be a natural fit.
We’re excited to welcome Jesse to the STEELPORT factory for a Chef Demo, where he’ll be preparing a classic Northern Italian winter antipasti. The demo will highlight his knife skills and offer guests a delicious bite to sample.
