These two award-winning brands share a deep commitment to iconic design, functional detail, and local American craftsmanship – they also have a shared origin story! FINEX and STEELPORT were both started in Portland, Oregon by the same founder, driven by a passion to reintroduce heirloom-quality American-handcrafted kitchen tools.

This set is a tribute to the shared values and history of these two purpose-built companies – handcrafted in the USA, designed to last for generations, and available together for the first time at a special Founder’s discount of $110 savings.

STEELPORT and FINEX share deep roots, and this limited edition Founder’s Set is a tribute to their single origin story. Both companies were founded by Ron Khormaei, who first launched FINEX in 2012 with a mission to introduce premium heirloom American cast iron cookware. In 2020, with that same passion for craftsmanship, Ron — along with several key members from the FINEX team — founded STEELPORT Knife Co., creating the first American-forged premium kitchen knife company of its kind.
